Christine is a singer-songwriter from Fairfax, VA. She performs/records originals, as well as covers numerous artists, from blues-soul to alternative country music genre. Christine’s music inspirations cover a wide range: ZZ Ward, Whitney Houston, Carrie Underwood, Aerosmith, Connie Talbot, and Anna Graceman.
She is planning for the release of a professional EP in mid-2019, including Christine’s copyrighted single “Start a Fire,” and three addtional songs recently submitted for copyright that were premiered at a Benefit Concert for Homeless Women Veterans, Jammin Java, December 16, 2015: “Comeback”, “Steel Magnolia”, and “Almost.”
She was in love with music at a very early age. “My heart sings all day long. In joy, in sadness, pain, or excitement… in every season of life, my heart finds a song to sing.” At 11 years old, Christine wrote her first song on the piano. Her passion for songwriting flourished in college as she pursued a vigorous course load at Virginia Tech. She graduated in May 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics. But she says, “I’ve always liked math and I’ve always liked music. It was a great balance.” Since 2009, Christine has written a total of nearly 50 songs and piano pieces. She describes her favorite style as a mix of Soul, R&B, and Country. Christine writes the lyrics and melodies to all of her songs.
